Yes, 100% free! There are no monthly subscription fees, no setup fees, and no hidden charges for restaurant owners. A small service fee is added to each order and paid by the customer, not the restaurant.

Most restaurants are up and running within 10 minutes. Simply create an account, add your menu items, create your tables, and print the QR codes. No technical knowledge required.

No! Customers simply scan the QR code on their table using their phone's camera. The menu opens in their web browser — no app download needed.

Pricing

My Chef is completely free for restaurants. A small service fee is charged per order and is paid by the customer. This fee covers platform maintenance, hosting, and payment processing costs. The restaurant keeps 100% of the order amount.

Absolutely not. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees, no per-user fees, and no transaction fees charged to the restaurant. The only fee is the service fee paid by the customer on each order.

Payments

My Chef uses Stripe Connect to process payments. When you connect your Stripe account, customer payments go directly to your bank account. We support credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Yes! You can enable 'Pay at Counter' option so customers can choose to pay with cash. Orders will be marked for counter payment and your cashier can process them through the cashier dashboard.

Online payments are processed through Stripe and typically arrive in your bank account within 2-7 business days, depending on your country and Stripe account settings.

Setup

From your restaurant dashboard, go to Staff Management. You can create accounts for kitchen staff, cashiers, and waiters. Each role gets a dedicated dashboard showing only the information they need.

Yes! You can add menu categories, items with descriptions and photos, set prices, create option groups (like size, spice level, extras), and customize your menu's header and button colors to match your brand.

Go to your Restaurant Settings page and click 'Connect with Stripe' in the payment settings section. You'll be guided through Stripe's onboarding process. Once connected, you can start accepting online payments immediately.
